Squash Ireland offers members two ways to become fully affiliated members.
Option 1 – Affiliation through club
Option 2 – Individual Membership Registration
Clubs are also encouraged to affiliate to avail of the immense benefits of Squash Ireland. They affiliate direct with Squash Ireland.
Please note that from October 1st , you will be unable to enter tournaments and leagues without a valid membership.

Clubs can streamline the membership process by submitting a list of their members to Squash Ireland, similar to last season’s process. We will invoice the club based on this list and all listed members will be registered. This ensures that members are eligible to participate in Squash Ireland sanctioned leagues and tournaments and are covered under our insurance policy. Clubs can also add new members throughout the season as needed.
For individuals not yet registered by a club, residing abroad, or not affiliated with any club, there is an option to register directly with Squash Ireland. This allows players to participate in leagues and tournaments independently while benefiting from insurance coverage and other membership perks. Registration is done online through the SportyHQ platform, ensuring that all members meet the eligibility criteria for tournament participation and provincial or national team selection.
This costs €25 per player.
This membership allows you to enter all Squash Ireland sanctioned events alongside unlocking all the benefits of affiliation
After 1st October, players will not be able to enter a tournament unless they hold this membership
This costs €5 per player.
This membership covers any player competing in all junior categories, This expires when a player has progressed past the u19 level.
The junior membership grants all benefits and allows juniors to compete in Squash Ireland sanctioned events.
This costs €10 per player.
This covers any student and grants all benefits along with eligibility for Squash Ireland tournaments
As an affiliated player with Squash Ireland you are covered by comprehensive insurance that ensures protection both on and off the court. This coverage includes accidents or injuries sustained during training, matches, or tournaments, providing peace of mind whether you’re playing recreationally or competitively. It’s an essential benefit that helps safeguard your well-being, allowing you to focus on enjoying the game with confidence.
Affiliated players are eligible to represent Ireland in national and international competitions, showcasing their skills on the biggest stages. Additionally, affiliation grants you entry to a wide range of tournaments, from local events to elite national championships, ensuring you’re always ready to compete and take your game to the next level.
