On 7-9 October, my brother, Seamus Singh, and I will be attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the Longest Squash Marathon (singles) at Workout Harbourside on the Welshback in Bristol. The official current record stands at just over 38 hours. Last weekend a couple of gents in Tring attempted to set a new record and went 40 hours 1 min and 59 secs which now needs to be ratified. Our goal is and has been since we started on this adventure a whopping 50 hours!

This attempt is a huge undertaking; we would love your support!

Through this attempt, we hope to raise awareness about the importance of mental health, which is why we’re raising money for Off the Record (Bristol) (https://www.otrbristol.org.uk)  and Jigsaw – The National Center for Youth Metal Health (Dublin) (https://jigsaw.ie), two amazing charities that provide mental health support and advocacy for young people.

Mental health is so much about community, so we really want to bring our community together through this attempt, which is why we’ll be hosting a weekend-long event at Workout Harbourside in Bristol, UK surrounding our attempt.

Here’s how you can support us:

If you are local, come out and cheer us on during the attempt. Here is the event on Facebook: https://fb.me/e/21OzYnPqc

If you’re not, tune in to our live stream (https://youtu.be/UqA3A4vJPzY)

Help us reach our fundraising goal by using our JustGiving team page at  https://www.justgiving.com/team/ShakingTwoTreesTeam.  We greatly appreciate all donations, and we thank you in advance for however you chose to support these causes.  We would kindly ask, if you are amenable, to split your donation between both charities.

We are looking for one final sponsor to help us cover the costs required to qualify our attempt. If you know of any individuals or companies who would be interested in sponsoring, please let me know at [email protected].
